TACNY Elects New Officers and Board Members

The Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY) has elected directors for a three year term at the Annual Meeting of TACNY. Three new Directors, Brian Nichols, Donna Nortman and Kevin Pierce, join returning directors Gino Duca, Steve Karon, Michael Masingale, and Mark Wesel.

Additionally, officers elected for 2016-17 are Diane Plumley, President; Maria Welych, 1st VP; Rob Morris, 2nd VP; Rhonda Cabrinha, Treasurer; and Beth Richards, Secretary.

Celebration of Technology keynote speaker Lane Sutton and Student Technologist winner Zack Banack appeared on a segment on teenagers in technology. The Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY) was honored by Partners for Education & Business Inc. (PEB) for its efforts to encourage Central New York students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math. The group received the 2012 Outstanding Commitment Award at PEB’s Annual Awards Celebration on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology. read more...
