The Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY) was honored by Partners for Education & Business Inc. (PEB) for its efforts to encourage Central New York students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math. The group received the 2012 Outstanding Commitment Award at PEB’s Annual Awards Celebration on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science and Technology. read more...

The Technology Alliance of Central New York elected board members at its annual meeting May 2, 2012, and officers at its regular board meeting, which followed on the same day.
Four returning board members were elected to new three-year terms on the board: Bill Busher, Diane Darwish, Gwendolyn Maturo-Grasso and Henry Sanchez. In addition, four new board members were elected, also for three-year terms: Misty Blowers, Mike McCracken, Nicole McManus and Rob Morris.
Finally, the TACNY board elected its officers for the 2012-2013 term. Howard Hollander will continue as president, Kathryn Pynn as first vice president, David Jasper will serve as second vice president and chair of the Technical Societies Council, Mike Masingale as secretary, and Rhonda Cabrinha will be treasurer. read more...
