Nominate a Teacher

Teachers may be nominated for the award by anyone who knows of their work and how it compares with the award criteria. This includes superintendents of schools, students, colleagues, principals, parents of students, board of education members, and business, industry, and technology leaders. Our objective is to find the best-qualified teachers who meet our criteria and who will supply the requested documentation of their work and will ask three other people to write supporting letters of reference.

Nomination forms and invitations to make nominations are mailed in early September to all school buildings in the five counties of Central New York and to various individuals in the technology community. Notices are also sent to the daily and weekly papers and electronic media of the region. The nomination form may be downloaded in PDF.

Nominations must be received by Monday, October 10, 2005.
