Aspects of Structure
Talk Overview:
Why does a balloon stick to a wall? Why do we sometimes get a spark when touching a doorknob? Through lecture and interactive demonstrations, participants will explore the science of electric charge, static electricity, and electro-adhesion, and learn how the same principles can be used to create robotic grippers that pick up and move objects using electricity.
