SyracuseCoE and the EPIC Buildings program are thrilled to offer a presentation by Dr. Tianzhen Hong, Interim Deputy for Research in the Building Technology & Urban Systems Division at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL), and Reshma Singh, Program Director at LBNL.

This talk presents an overview of the R&D on buildings and communities conducted at Berkeley Lab to support U.S. Department of Energy’s mission of carbon neutrality and climate resilience for the U.S. building stocks. The talk will also cover Berkeley Lab’s technology-to-market IMPEL program and Cradle to Commerce incubation engines. Opportunities for collaboration will be discussed.

This event will be moderated by Professor Ian Shapiro, who leads the EPIC Buildings program. The program will be offered in-person at SyracuseCoE, with presenters in Syracuse and in Berkeley, CA.
