“Utility Rate Cases:
Where the Rubber Meets the Road”
Friday, September 10, 12:00pm – 1:30pm
A webinar presentation and discussion to be held on GoTo Meeting.
Speaker: Jessica Azulay, Executive Director, Alliance for a Green Economy
In 2019, New York passed one of the nation’s most ambitious climate laws, requiring the entire economy to essentially transition off of fossil fuels by 2050 and to be 40% of the way there by 2030. Now comes the hard part: Actually getting fossil fuels out of each sector of our economy.
Jessica Azulay, Executive Director of Alliance for a Green Economy, will take you into the complex but all-important world of utility rate cases, where critical decisions are made about how we will heat our homes and what infrastructure utility customers will be required to pay for. Only billions of dollars and the fate of our planet is at stake.
This event is free, but registration is required (click here to register).
NOTE: A link to the meeting will be sent to those registered a few days prior to the event.
