Sweet Science Series: Science of Maple Syrup

SUNY ESF’s Jill Rahn, Forester, and Olivia Whitmarsh, K-12 Outreach Coordinator, will share all things maple syrup with us! Arrive at Heiberg Forest at noon and park by the classrooms. We will tour the sugar house and the surrounding grounds at 12:15. Wear comfortable shoes/boots for walking through snow and mud. Olivia will provide a semi-guided tour of the indoor, ESF-student led information stations found in the Heiberg Classroom space across from the sugar house, letting participants learn first and foremost from the ESF students themselves. Guaranteed to be our sweetest Sweet Science presentation!
